Llangeinor Football Club

For over 7 years we have been in talks with Bridgend Borough Council regarding the “Asset transfer” of the football grounds and the pavilion to ourselves.

We have finally reached agreement and at a BCBC Cabinet meeting in July 2024 the Cabinet Members agreed to give the Club a 35 year lease and £150.000 as part of the Community Asset Transfer Scheme. 

As plans have already been approved for the new pavilion building, the Cymru Football Federation will now make available the £280,000 that has already been awarded to Llangeinor FC.

Building has been delayed due to delays from Bridgend Borough Council in agreeing the funding.

Continued delays have hampered our hope to start and be completed ready for the start of the 2025/26 season.

We hope that we will now be in a ready state for the start of the 2026/27 season.
